Write a short film script for possible production by Plexus Pictures.
These scripts will then be uploaded to this site and next month’s homework will be an assessment of each short film and your reasons, as writers, why each screenplay should or should not go into production.
Must be under 12 pages.
Must not be melodramatic bullshit.
Must be achievable on a small production budget.
Must have at least one well developed female character.
Must be written in proper screenplay format and should not contain typos.
Must be turned in at deadline and not before nor after, following exact instructions listed here.
Due April 19th:
One logline and the title of the short sent via email to firstname.lastname@example.org
One logline (can be different than emailed version) tweeted with these exact instructions:
1) Tweet “[insert your logline] #DGirlProject”
2) Tweet “Logline for short film idea sent @lindawashere”
Due May 3rd:

Only submissions from former D-Girl Project participants will be uploaded to the site for collective review and discussion by said participants. There is no guarantee that any submissions – from former students or others – will go into production.
NEXT MEETING DATE IS TBD DUE TO MY WORK SCHEDULE, BUT I’M HOPING TO HAVE ONE NEAR THE FINAL DEADLINE – CHECK IN HERE FOR UPDATES.
